ELEMENTS – Arqu[in]FILM & CL3VER
This summer there’s lots of great cinema under the stars of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion.
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of its reconstruction, the Mies Van der Rohe Foundation hosts Pavilion Screen, a film festival where architecture is the main protagonist. An amazing location in Barcelona’s greenest zone is the perfect meeting point where to enjoy movies and explore the interaction of cinema and architecture.
The Mies Van der Rohe Pavilion is considered one of the most influential works of modern architecture.
It was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe as the German National Pavilion for the Barcelona International Exhibition, held on Montjuïc. In 1983 the Mies van der Rohe Foundation was set up with the aim of recreating the legendary pavilion.
At CL3VER we’re very happy to have contributed to the organization of a session of the Mies Van der Rohe anniversary event.
This week we sponsored ELEMENTS, a video installation by Davide Rapp (2014), presented by Martín Garber, founder of Ojo Conico in the frame of ArquinFad.
ELEMENTS is a movie montage of short architecture-related clips selected among more than 200 movies, from the last 100 years of the rich and glorious history of cinema. A dynamic montage that reveals the ambivalent connections between architecture and cinema.
The Mies Van der Rohe experience is the first of a number of events that CL3VER will sponsor in the next months. CL3VER is an interactive platform that helps you create and share awesome 3D presentations.
